IGCSE, O/A-Level Math Tutor: An Accomplished Online Mathematics Specialist
Maria Mehmood is a Pakistani mathematician, an undergraduate Calculus teacher, and an online IGCSE, AS & A-level math tutor renowned for her extensive experience in mathematics education and digital learning. She has gained recognition for her ability to simplify complex mathematical concepts and her innovative teaching methods.
Mehmood received her master’s degree in science in pure mathematics from the University of Karachi in 2004. In her class, she placed third. In addition, she received a fantastic academic honor: she was ranked in the top ten across all science departments at the University of Karachi. Her specialties include vector calculus, analytic geometry, linear algebra, and first-order differential and integral calculus.
She spent two years teaching mathematics at the Bahria College Karsaz before being offered a different position. She concurrently taught pre-calculus/analytic geometry to A-level students and fundamental mathematics to IGCSE and O-level students.
She has been mentoring graduate and undergraduate students with online and in-person mathematics courses since 2012. Mehmood has worked with students primarily from the following nations: Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Oman, Bahrain, Egypt, Eswatini, and Turkey.
Maria launched My Maths Club in January 2020 to offer a global experience in math virtual education. Her interest in digital learning and educational technology is the reason for this.
Maria has also been certified by the Institute of Digital Marketing Pakistan in “Digital Marketing & AI”. In 2024, she obtained certification in “Exam Success in Cambridge International AS and A Level Maths Online Training” from Oxford University Press, which expanded her knowledge of the international curriculum even further.
Maria employs a combination of in-person and online approaches. She has a background in both pure mathematics and educational technology. This tutor has worked hard to become considerate, dedicated, and passionate about the success of her students and mathematics education.
Nowadays she is exercising as an online math tutor and interacts with students worldwide, contributing significantly to the globalization of education in general and mathematics in particular. Her work combines the requirements for mathematics with the use of computers and digital learning methods, putting her at the nexus of modern educational technology and traditional scholarly education.
